The demigod of dank, the kush Kronos, the chronic creator, the god of green, the messiah of Mary Jane—Snoop D-O-double-G takes a hit and delivers one aimed squarely at American president Donald Trump, this time right in his front yard.
On Wednesday (November 7), Snoop posted a four-part series of videos, titled “I had 2 do it”, smoking a blunt in a park opposite the White House.
The videos start with Snoop and his entourage cruising down Pennsylvania Avenue when he asks the driver to pull over.
“There go the White House right there, huh?” he says. “All them motherfuckers are Secret Service, huh? Wish I could get out and take a picture right now, but you can’t park. Fuck it, let me out. Let me get a picture in front of this motherfucker. I’m Snoop Dogg. Fuck the president!”
In the next clip, we see our hero parked up on a bench in front of the White House, joking with a passer-by and taking photos with fans.
“While the n***** are posing and doing all this other bullshit, I’m at the White House to smokin’,” he says, puffing on a blunt in the third clip.
“Fuck the President.”
Anti-Trump demonstrations are becoming a calling card for the hip-hop icon. Earlier this year, he took to the airwaves to express his distate for the president’s discriminatory attitude. In an interview with DJ Suss on SiriusXM he said: “I don’t give a fuck. I tell ’em straight up, motherfucker. If you like that n****, you motherfuckin’ racist. Fuck you and fuck him. Now what?”
“He drew the lines. He drew the motherfucking lines. Before him, there were no lines. Everybody was everybody. We respected everything. We didn’t trip, but n****, when you drew the line, n***** starting pointing motherfuckers out, and singling them out. Well, fuck y’all then. You and them.”
In the music video for his 2017 track titled “Lavender”, he shoots a “bang” flag at a clown painted like Trump. When the president called for his arrest as a response, he made “Make America Crip Again”—a track modifying Trump’s campaign slogan—in which he calls out the country’s growing intolerance.
In 2015, long before the saffron-toned-tub-of-Twitter-rants plagued the States with his leadership, Snoop tore into the business mogul who was then toying with the idea of running for political leadership.
“Donald says he want to run for president and move into the White House. Why not? It wouldn’t be the first time you pushed a black family out of their home,” he said on Trump’s Comedy Central roast, after jabbing at the size of his ‘equipment’ and saying he wanted bang one of his wives.
Cut back to the most recent videos.
“Back from the White House. Everything is smooth, baby! Back in my room watching Netflix, ” Snoop says, laughing in the fourth installment.
“Sometimes you just got to do it. I had to do it.”
